it’s Anthony

it’s Anthony... while sitting in Red Lime Shack I notice a well dressed man walk in & politely ask a staff member if he could move the promotional flyers on the piano lid, he promised to put them back when he finished & one of the shack crew responds, “Of course!”

Anthony took his place at the resident piano & proceeded to play the most amazing classical music you would ever hear. 10 minutes go by & I’ve just got to go over to thank him for sharing his gift. We got talking over a drink & he tells me his story which has had many twists & turns. We spoke about how he has been homeless for years staying both here & in Melbourne, how he is a classically trained pianist & how he nearly died in the outback.... there was so much more we spoke about which just doesn’t seem right for me to repeat... although he said he didn’t mind if I did.

Although Anthony’s had his fair share of challenges along the way, you can’t help but love his positive outlook... this bloke is a champion.

As we said our goodbyes and a “catch ya next time”... he’s come out with this ripper that I wanted to pass onto you, “Don’t worry if you get lost...I’ve been lost many times.” — at Red Lime Shack.
